Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you and OCR Context. By accessing or using OCR Context—including creating an account, uploading documents, or consuming any paid or free feature—you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy & Data Security policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

If you use OCR Context on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Service Description & AI Disclaimer

OCR Context provides document analysis powered by artificial intelligence, including large language models (LLMs) and computer vision. The service extracts, structures, and assists with interpretation of text from uploaded materials. Outputs are generated probabilistically and may contain errors, omissions, or misreadings.

OCR Context does not guarantee one hundred percent (100%) accuracy. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving all outputs—especially financial, tax, regulatory, and legal data—before relying on them in business, compliance, or litigation contexts. OCR Context shall not be liable for any commercial loss, penalty, or damages arising from inaccuracies, incomplete extractions, or your failure to perform human verification.

Acceptable Use

You may use OCR Context only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. You must not upload, transmit, or process content that is illegal, stolen, fraudulently obtained, or that infringes third-party rights. You must not use the service to distribute or analyze child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any other content that exploits minors.

We employ automated and manual safeguards to detect prohibited content and abuse. If we reasonably believe you have violated this section—including CSAM or other serious unlawful use—we may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without refund, and report activity to law enforcement or relevant authorities as required by law.

You are responsible for ensuring that documents you submit are lawfully in your possession and that your use of OCR Context complies with your own contractual, employment, and data-protection obligations.

Fair Use Policy: Features labeled as "unlimited" (such as RAG document chat) are subject to a Fair Use Policy. These features are intended for normal, manual human operation. Automated scraping, scripted rapid-fire API queries, or usage that excessively burdens our infrastructure and degrades performance for other users is strictly prohibited. OCR Context reserves the right to rate-limit, throttle, or suspend accounts that violate this policy without prior notice.

No Resale or API Abuse: You may not reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or create a commercially competing API wrapper around OCR Context's services without an explicit Enterprise agreement.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are offered on a subscription basis and renew automatically each billing period (typically monthly) until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees on each renewal date using your selected payment method.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@ocrcon.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to paid features generally continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees for periods already started or consumed are non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.

We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OCR Context and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to OCR Context for the service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as fraud or willful misconduct).

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Istanbul, Turkey, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
